When we got our Z (My brother 16yrs and I 18yrs. I was sooooo cool. We bought it with stage 4 mods rims and a stillen wint plus a whole bunch of other stuff it came with. Its a 91 TT. Fast as hell and really sweet looking. But we really werent prepared for the expensive as insurance ($345/month), and the gas consumption of the car. plus the occasional service we have done to it. all in all it is an awsome car to have but if it werent for the fact that i make good money we would never be able to afford it. We were about to buy a jeep also,had 7000 from dad for a jeep,then my Bro and i put in the extra few thousand to get the Z. Mom didnt approve but I love being 18 and having it under my control...Hehe, either way you have to be very responsible with a car as powerfull as that. And dont let your friends drive it no matter what they say. But i say get the jeep and use it until you save like 3000-4000. Thats like a summers work. You will get used to having a car with the jeep and all the expenses that come with them. Then you can probably sell your jeep for 5000 im sure and buy yourself a 90-91 TT Z for 8000-9000.
